Christine grew up in Reading, Massachusetts where she met her husband Joe Baranofsky. They relocated to Jacksonville in 2005. Christine started her real estate career in New Hampshire in 1986 and received her Florida license in early 2006.
Christine is passionate about travel and enjoys visiting and talking about travel to just about anywhere. She is planning to visit all 50 states and has traveled to 42 so far. So far she’s been to four continents, Europe, North America, South America, and Antarctica. In addition she has made many journeys to Italy to tour and visit family.

Fleming Island, Florida is an unincorporated area in Clay County Florida. It is located 15 miles southwest of Jacksonville, on the western side of the St. Johns River, off US 17. It has a rich history, first settled in the late 1700's by George Fleming. He immigrated from Ireland and he and his wife Sophia tended orange groves and other crops on their plantation. George Fleming named his island plantation Hibernia, the Latin word for Ireland, in honor of his island home country. The 1,000 acre island property was gained by a land grant from the Spanish.
Today, Fleming Island is a vibrant suburban community featuring beautiful waterfront homes, private communities such as Fleming Island Plantation and Golf and Country Clubs including Fleming Island Country Club.
